That's not true; Samba does have a configuration option to only bind its
listen socket to particular interface(s) you specify (by IP address).
Check the "interfaces =" option, and the "allows hosts =" option
couldn't hurt, either.
Of course, setting up ipchains filtering, in case someone botches the
Samba config, is always a good idea.
