/* HINT: Search archives @ http://www.indyramp.com/masq/ before posting! */ Currently I have a DSL line coming into eth0 and a private LAN connected to eth1 on a Linux machine running redhat 6.1 Kernel version 2.2.12-20 serving as my firewall/gateway. My LAN consist of a 100mbs/10mbs auto sensing hub with 5 computers hooked up to it. I first want to thank all those who helped in the creation of the ipmasq HOWTO since it has gotten me this far. As of now my firewall seems to be working great except for one problem that has stumped me. Every computer behind the firewall can ping the external IP address of eth0 and has no problems browsing the web or with anything else that concerns connecting to the net. But, when one computer on the LAN attempts to connect to battle.net to play starcraft, it works just fine. When one computer on the LAN connects to battle.net and hosts a game and then another computer on the LAN connects to battle.net and attempts to join that same game it shows that there is too much latency and will not permit the second computer to join that game. Also others on the net can join the game hosted by the first computer with no problems. I can't figure this one out so any help is greatly appreciated. _______________________________________________ Masq maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Admin requests can be handled at http://www.indyramp.com/masq-list/ -- THIS INCLUDES UNSUBSCRIBING! or email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] PLEASE read the HOWTO and search the archives before posting.
