When you connect to an IRC server, you have to be sure to
connect through whichever port you've set the irc-module up with.
The default is port 6667. Before I figured this out I'd connect one
time and it would work, and then I'd connect another time and it
wouldn't. After that I set up the module to cover ports 6661-6667
and 7000, then went through the servers on mIRC I used the most
and set them up to only chose those ports.

I hope this helps,
J. Steve
