It changes ports as well. The forwarding table is kept in kernel memory on
the ipmasq gateway. You can get to it by catting /proc/net/ip_masquerade,
however the output of 'netstat -M' will probablly be a lot more
understandable. If you have a slow connection and don't want netstat to do
all the nslookups, you can use 'netstat -Mn' to have it give you the IPs
instead of hostnames. (it'll also give your port numbers instead of the
/etc/services equivilants) There is a range it uses for the modified ports,
but I don't remember it off my head. I think it might be mentioned in the
archives somewhere. As for internal port ranges, I don't think there is one.
It acts like a router in that regard so it would act just like your machine is
trying to use your ISP's router to send information out.
