As a user, I would say please do so. You do not have to look long on
the
different mailing lists on the web to see that users asks themselves
what's
going on if they:
# echo "1" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_always_defrag
and then if they a bit later get
# cat /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_always_defrag
# 5
We just had a discussion on it in our LUG.
