I like to thank everyone who has helped me with the issue Re: [masq] Cannot
FTP/Telnet/WWW *from* (not thru) IP Masq Machine? Thanks to your help, the
culprit was ipautofw and giving ICQ 2000 ports (2000-4000). The Linux box
has been working *as it should* the last 24 hours and the problems have gone
away after I removed all of the ipautofw rules.
I've fixed it and installed NEC's SOCKS5 server and I'm telling ICQ to use
that instead and it works perfectly. :) As with AOL Instant Messanger :) But
what from I heard... AOL *bough* Mirabilis (ICQ)... UH oh. ;)
