Hi all, I'm trying to get ipautofw 2.0.0 working on my RedHat 5.1 with 2.0.35 kernel. This machine is my firewall and does ip masquerading for a Win98 machine on my internal network. I've recompiled to kernel and turned on the ipautofw parameter. I've got masquerading working and can ftp, http, etc. However, I cannot for some reason get ipautofw to forward any packets. For example, I issue this command to setup the masquerading for Microsoft's Age of Empires multiplayer games: ipautofw -A -r udp 1410 1450 -h 192.168.1.2 ipautofw -A -r tcp 1410 1450 -h 192.168.1.2 These two commands both execute without errors or messages of any kind, and a look at /proc/net/ip_autofw indicates that they have been added successfully. However, my Win98 running Age of Empires cannot communicate with outside hosts for the game. Does anyone have ipautofw working with RedHat 5.1 and a recompiled kernel? I've tried compiling ipautofw with the included source code but it won't compile, leading me to believe something is wrong with my RedHat source setup. Thank in advance for any help...
