[masq] Help with net-tools

vcnet:~# netstat -L
netstat.c: feature 'RT_NETLINK' not supported.
Please recompile `net-tools' with newer kernel source or full
configuration.

Does anybody know what 'net-tools' stands for?
I am using latest kernel 2.0.35 .
