Hi,
I am running RH linux 5.1 (kernel v. 2.0.36), and have tried for hours
to get UDP packets to work through the masquerade. More specifically I am
trying to be able to play Diablo over battle.net (with Sygate I can play, so it
is possible) I have followed all of the steps outlined on the Masquerade Apps:
games section, and was wondering if I am missing something.
Note: all of the other masqueradable stuff works okay (http, ftp, quake,
unreal, real audio, icq, etc)
Here are the commands I use:
ipautofw -A -r udp 6112 6112 -c tcp 116
ipautofw -A -r udp 6112 6112 -c tcp 118
I have included all of the necessary kernel components. Do I have to issue any
other commands (maybe to open a port or something), or edit a file
(/etc/services, or /etc/protocols)?
Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
Sincerely,
Caleb Land
