Hmmmm.. ok, can you ping from the Linux box itself out (no MASQed pings)?

Again.. can you ping from the Linux box itself?  If not, I bet you
either didn't compile in ICMP Masq into the kernel, ip_forward isn't
getting set, or something is wrong in the IPFWADM ruleset.
