Hi, John here. I'm new to the list, and thanks
in advance for the help that I hope to receive.

I'm using Red Hat 5.0 (kernel 2.0.32). I added
ipfwadm via the RPM (ipfwadm-2.3.0-5.i386.rpm).

For hardware I have 2 ethernet cards. eth0 is on a
cable modem with an assigned IP address. eth1
goes to a hub, to which one Win95 machine is connected.
I've named eth1 192.168.1.1. I've named the Win95
machine 192.168.1.2. I made the gateway for the Win95
machine to be 192.168.1.1, and entered the same DNS
as the Linux box uses.

I've entered:

/sbin/ipfwadm -F -a m -S 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0 -D 0.0.0.0/0
/sbin/ipfwadm -F -p deny

at the command line of the Linux machine as per HOWTO's I've found on the
Internet.

I'm able to ping the Win95 machine from the Linux box and vice versa.
I can telnet into the Linux box from the Win95 machine.
I can ping, telnet, browse the Internet from the Linux machine.
I _can't_ browse, ping, or telnet to the Internet from the Win95 machine,
and that is the meat of the biscuit of my question/problem.

I assume I'm doing something wrong on the Linux side. The Win95 side
is non-powerful, but fairly trivial.

OK thanks, and I look forward to your answers.
