I was hoping someone could tell me how people are using IRC servers that check your user account validity with identd? Recently while trying to connect to an EFnet server I was denied access because, although my server answered the identd request, it knew I wasn't establishing the connection from that server. I use RedHat 5 with 2.0.33. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
