Hi all,
I have another question. Has anyone got a HylaFAX
server running on the same machine as your masquerade
gateway?
What I want to do is run HylaFAX on the server (with
a different modem) configured for sending only.
I installed the software, and got the Win95 client
running, but when I try to connect to the server
I just get a continuous stream of WSAECONNRESET messages.
I know that it can see the server, because if I use
the wrong IP or port, it tells me it can't find the
server. I'm wondering if the masqing interferes
with the Hylafax software because when the client
tries to initiate the connection, the ppp modem dials.
I understand that this happens (what would be an
appropriate command to tell it not to forward packets
on port 4559?), but it seems to really break the
FAX software. Do I need a separate Linux box to do
this?
