Hi All,
Having some spotty performance on my masq forwarding.
Will do http, telnet and usually FTP but won't pass an INETD
for IRC
Here is a clip from my rc.local file.
/sbin/depmod -a
/sbin/modprobe ip_masq_ftp (have seen these with .o )
/sbin/modprobe ip_masq_irc (does it matter?? )
/sbin/modprobe ip_alias
(Have tried it with and without /sbin, no change.. Have set them
(down individually and as a group with same results.
/sbin/ipfwadm -F -p deny
/sbin/ipfwadm -F -a accept -m -S 192.168.0.1/24 -D 0.0.0.0/0
#ipfwadm -F -a m -S 192.168.0.2/24 -D 0.0.0.0/0
#ipfwadm -F -a m -S 192.168.0.5/24 -D 0.0.0.0/0
#ipfwadm -F -a m -S 192.168.0.7/24 -D 0.0.0.0/0
#ipfwadm -F -a m -S 192.168.0.3/24 -D 0.0.0.0/0
Seems to work well but stumbles on some FTP action and
will not pass the Inetd for IRC(EFNET). I am not sure if I compiled
with ipfwauto and defrag.... perhaps a recompile will fix???
Thanks in advance
Ken Jensen
