Hello,
I am looking for the easiest, and cheapest (hopefully free), way to
Masq. two DOS/WIN 3.1 machines through my OpenLinux 1.2 server.
So far my research has led me to an upgrade of the DOS boxes to WFW
(Windows for Workgroups 3.11), and the TCP/IP extension software
available from Microsoft's ftp site. I will then be able to
masquerade the WFW machines with ease, correct?
Actually, I am hoping for another solution as this one will require
me to find a purchasable copy of the WFW 3.11 software, which I was
hoping to not have to do.
My question is: Are there any other ways to accomplish this without
having to part with any cash? How about a "packet driver" for the DOS
machines? Can I setup something with that? How to run TCP/IP on the
Personal NetWare software included with DRDOS?
Any ideas and/or pointers to relevant documentation will be accepted,
and appreciated. Especially your precious time.
Thanks,
Paul
PS: Please answer privately, as I don't seem to be getting the list
any more. :-(
