different scenarios where you would choose a RIP router vs IP Masquerading.
(I am new to tcpip w/.linux but have read many many howto's and just bought
<and am awaiting delivery this morning> of Internetworking w/tcpip)

Aha, RIPng. Somebody else said "gated", but I think the ipv6 code is only
available to members of the gated consortium, so that could be a
problem.
Check out http://www.merit.edu/, net/routing research department, and
look for `mrt'. It's a new routing daemon being developed esp. for
ipv6. Also check out http://www.zebra.org/
