The web page points to
ftp.ox.compsoc.org.uk/pub/users/steve/ipsubs/subs-patch-1.34.gz as the
latest, but if you go to the ftp site, there is a subs-patch-1.36.gz
available. That one applied cleanly to 2.0.34 for me. I then applied the
2.0.35 patch, and it works fine. Since there seemed to be no conflicts in
the two patches, it shouldn't matter how you patch it. This is what
worked for me:
clean 2.0.34 -> subs-patch-1.36 -> patch-2.0.35
