This is an issue with the irc server configuration, not ip_masq. Most irc
operators do not allow more than one concurrent connection from a
particular ip address...this to prevent 'clones', which is the practice
where a single user logs into an irc server with multiple personalities.
Unfortunately, this setting also kills multi-user access from true
multi-user systems such as Linux.
You might want to try asking the operator of the particular irc server to
relax this restriction for your users' particular nicks.
