When your NT server is put on the local LAN and not behind the
Linux box.. what IP address does it get?  This matters unless
the franklin LPD server will allow ANY remote machinet to
print to it.

If its not an IP address issue.. it might be a IPFWADM
issue.  What are you using for a ruleset?

Also.. what OS is the "franklin" machine running?  NT?
Linux?
