Listening to the FIRE scanner this morning - 483.1625R - honks - quick - "Ladder 14 Open Up" apparently hit the emergency button by mistake - lots of chirps were heard coming from the background as the dispatcher spoke on Channel 1 - apparently some or all of the consoles at Boston Fire Alarm start chirping loudly if an emergency radio distress alarm sounds
483.1625R - "Ladder 1 Open Up to Ladder 1" Lets take a wild guess - Boston FD has the following portables on Ladder 1 - "Ladder 1" is the officer - "Ladder 1 Chauffeur" is the driver - "Ladder 1 Roof" is a firefighter - "Ladder 1 Open Up" is a firefighter - Ladder 1 XXX is the 5th person 483.1625R - 9AM - "temperature is 54 degrees - 18 percent humidity" - they dont give the wind speed or wind direction 483.5375R - Concord FD - 0901 AM - still alarm for master box 3241 at Emerson Hospital - 0903 - Engine 4 responding - Eng 3 & Ldr 1 on - 0904 - Zone 8 for Wheeler 5 - call for the 3rd floor - unknown cause - 0906 - Eng 4 at scene - in command - 0907 - Ldr 1 staged on ORNAC Road - Eng 3 staged - 0911 - per Command, faulty smoke detector, Wheeler 5 elevator lobby, return all units, Engine 4 Pump to reset the box - all comms were loud and clear via the repeater - 5 minutes for first unit to arrive - 10 minutes for a report - 6 minutes for HQ units to arrive 460.60R - Arlington - 2 box alarms at Bishop School - faulty alarm system - first box received at 0915 AM - E1 & L1 arrived at 0919 AM - approximately a 1 mile run 154.355 - Concord NH box 777 for Concord Hospital at 939AM - Freq 2 for (FG) - 940AM Tower 1 from Training Grounds - Eng 4 and Amb 4 responding - East Cottage per security, unknown cause - 0943AM - Eng 4 at scene, 2 story, nothing showing, going to Freq 2 - 0945AM - Batt 4 reports under control, detector, no reason at 87 Pleasant St not 86 Pleasant St --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
