The technical rescue in Boston was on Congress St - apparently on the South Boston side.
Everett FD is no longer heard on 154.31R. They are heard on 470.05R now. This morning Everett Fire Alarm could hear Engine 2 via the portable radio at Fire Alarm, but not via the main radio. Engine 2 then came up on the repeater and said the problem was "that the David Clark headsets had not been tied in yet". Peabody FD radio test was much different today than yesterday. Today we had - for portables - Car 2 portable - E1 - E100 - 101 (maybe 1 oh 1 actually) - 102 (maybe 1 oh 2 actually) - E3 - E300 - E4 - E400 - E5 - 500 - 5 oh 1 - E7 - 700 - 7 oh 1 - 7 oh 2 - L1 - L100 - L2 - L200 - 2 oh 1 Westford FD - 471.325 - 8 AM radio (pager) test - Group C Charlie on call Watertown FD - 483.7125R - they had a Rescue 2 today - they also had a Jaws call that required 2 ambulances on Main St I think - around 8 AM Leominster FD - 460.575 - Engine 3 was dispatched to a alarm system call - 3 tones and then 4 quick DTMF tones Malden FD - 154.25R - radios for the Deputy and ?aide are - Car 2 (mobile) - Car 2 Command Post - C2 - C20 - C200 District 14 Fire - today Ashland constantly had approx 15% static on their signal - Milford was loud and clear on the test via 453.3875R today 473.05 - I heard A2 and Engine 2 loud and clear - I did not hear the dispatcher - Everett FD Saugus FD radio test - 9AM - 159.645R - same as it ever was - Eng 1 - Eng 3 - Ladder 1 - portables - portable 1 - port 1a - port 1b - port 3 - port 3a - port 3b - port 4 - port 4a - port 4b - then Amb 2 replied as A2 Woburn FD radio test - 2 - 2 oh 1 - 2 zero 2 - :-) A Blackhawk helo just landed at Arlington High School after doing a bit if an airshow over Arlington. I really gotta get a video camera. They had the blades at 90% to vertical in some of the turns. And I saw them stop dead in their tracks when doing a turn. pretty cool. (See the story in todays Globe about the Corbett family of Arlington - I think they had 7 brothers in WWII.)
