On a recent overcast / foggy day, I noticed that I was getting splatter across many of my UHF channels from the Arlington PD (471.1625R). The Arlington FD (460.60R) was not causing that problem. IIRC the FCC ULS shows both agencies listed for 2 repeaters sites - Park Circle (Water Tank) and Police HQ. Since Police HQ is only a 1/4 mile from me, I suspect that 471.1625 is coming from the Police Station, and 460.60 is coming from Park Circle. Does anyone that monitors from 30 miles out notice that they receive Arlington FD much better than Arlington PD?
