Listening to the scanner yesterday and today - we hear -

Cambridge FD responded to Box 1747 at Cambridge PD HQ at 125 6th St on
Sunday at 329PM - reported electrical odor on floor 2 - I guess it was
minor

453.775 - clicks heard - PL 156.7 - possibly this was Boston EMS radio
techs - this journal used by active about 4 months ago - after the 911
system crashed this channel has been very quiet

462.575 R - PL 79.7 - somebody testing from Wells Beach Maine - barely
making it - "back to 1"

484.6625R - DPL 023 - Foxboro Rescue 2 went mutual aid to Mansfield -
twice in a row

464.025 R PL 203.5 - an Armstrong Ambulance unit met Boston MedFlight
at the WBZ helipad - maybe the BI helipad was full or closed ???

Holbrook FD - PL 203.5 - 1 bar - Engine 3 and the Avon ambulance to a
EMS call - Holbrook A1 calls out at Good Samaritan Hospital

My UHF range seemed to be enhanced around 11 PM last night

Wilmington PD has a K9 unit - 482.3125R

Randolph FD Car 2 is the OIC - he was a Captain (last night at least)

452.7125 - no PL - PO XXXXXX = purchase number XXXXXX

Milton FD might have had an arson incident at 815 AM - did I hear them
say that "Engine 4 has the (switch)board"?

462.45R - PL192.8 - "I will see the boys after coffee"

453.3875R - Shrewsbury answered on this rptr - "Ashland Fire standing
by at 8-35" (at end of the rollcall)

I heard MIT PD go to a EMS call - they immediately dispatched a Pro
Amb - I guess that the MIT Amb is not fulltime or only handles
students - or something

483.1375R PL141.3 - "go to the detail channel" - ?????

453.15 R - PL 110.9 - "1 mile down the road" - Maine ? - NH ?

453.95 - Wells Maine gave the fire weather - Class 1 - PL 100.0

453.275 - PL 192.8 - beep on repeater unkey

482.2375 R - PL 77.0 - Chelsea Fire Alarm tests with the Command Car
on "Tactical"

Waltham FD - 9AM - Metro portable test - 482.225R - PL 127.3 - Eng 200
201 300 301 400 401 700 701 800 801 (Ldr) 200 201 (100 101) - I cant
remember what this is about - the got special portables on a special
grant? - apparently this is half of the total number of portables - or
maybe 2/3s - ????

482.175 R - PL 107.2 - "Everett K1 testing with Everett Fire Alarm on
Tactical" - you are loud and clear - "what channel does this show?" -
this shows as "Tactical Channel" on my screen - pray tell - is it Ch2
- or Ch3 - or something else - maybe Channel A2 or A3?

453.95R - North Reading Engine 5 and Rescue 1 to an EMS call - this
seems to be their normal response - I think that E5 is a minipumper

Chelsea FD - Tower 1 out of service at Williams School for quarterly inspection

453.675 R - PL 123.0 - "loud and clear on C" - possibly NH Highways
