Does MetroFire have any new radio procedures? Since MetroFire agencies are operating on VHF high & UHF & 800 Mhz freqs, are they doing any sort of crossband repeating of fireground channels? Or are they going to run 3 fireground channels for every large fire? Or is everyone going to stay on their home freq?
Maybe everyone is expected to have a full load of VHF high and UHF portables. This would allow / require 1 VHF and 1 UHF fireground channel per large fire (assuming that Cambridge and Logan will do some sort of patch from 800).
