Chief Jefferson said at Town Meeting that he was trying to sell Ladder 2. I believe the plan is to keep the current Ladder 1 (the 1994 model ladder at hq) as the frontline ladder piece, and to run the quint as an engine, but having it as a backup/spare for when L1 is out of service.
