The Logan Airport Disaster Drill

The drill started as a normal Alert 2. When the plane "crashed" into
the Boston Harbor with 335 souls on board, "Logan Command" (the Logan
Airport OIC), requested that Logan Fire Alarm do the following -
upgrade to an Alert 3, request that Boston FD transmit Box 763 (Boston
Outer Harbor), initiate a full Logan FD recall, do a statewide
notification, and notify 102 and 107. (102 and 107 are presumbably
Logan FD Chiefs or airports bosses).

Then I heard the Boston PD Tango Harbor 1 (harbor patrol boat) being
dispatched to Anchorage 1 via 460.45R.

At the same time, Boston EMS dispatched multiple units via 462.975R to
the airport for an "Alert 3".

453.10 R was used by Boston EMS to poll local private ambulance
companies for their available resources. AMR had 2 units available -
Pro had 2 ALS units available - etc

Boston EMS units moved to BEMS Channel 12 (460.55R) for ops on the airport.

Boston FD used Channel 3 (483.2125R) at the airport.

Boston EMS had Harbor Unit 2 and Harbor Unit 3 responding to the
incident. (These were apparently Boston EMS EMTs on Boston Police
boats - they were heard on 460.45R and 460.55R).

A "Phase" was never declared by the Boston EMS OIC, so I dont think
that any hospitals were ever notified of the drill. There was also
mention of a CMED malfunction which might have played a role in the
lack of a Phase. (Phase 5 apparently means that all hospitals in the
city and area have to activate their disaster plans - Phase 1 might
just be a heads up to hospitals via 155.28).

I never heard any comms on BAPERN 3 nor BAPERN Central about traffic control.
