Dont quote me on this - but I think that Verizon Repair can be reached via 800-483-3000 then hit 2. (Verizon is the primary landline provider for the Boston Mass area).
-------------------------------------- I tried to notify Verizon today that the expiration date on my credit card had been changed. They told me the system would not take the info. (10 minutes earlier, my cellphone company and my Net company had no problem with the update.) I immediately called my bank. The bank said it was Verizon's problem. I asked if there was ANYWAY he could check the situation. He put me on hold for a while. Then I found out that Verizon had dinged my account for 1 cent - which had triggered a fraud alert - and my account was frozen for probably 2 hours. Earlier at the grocery store, I could not get cash back because of "computer problems". I asked if the computer was spitting out twentys - "I wish" was the reply. Ah - the wonders of the modern electronic age. Scanners are working good today - sun is shining - wind is calm - humidity is low - ya gotta take the good with the bad I guess.
