I spoke to the Arlington Redevelopment Board back in 2009 Background - Andy West was the only one in the room when I arrived - he introduced himself and shook my hand - he asked what I was interested in - I said the Symmes Hospital site update, and the 4 Winslow St wireless telcom site permit - later, after they discussed the permit, Andy West starts asking "is there anyone here that wants to comment on this?" - I kept my head down - I had not intended to speak - I had not told him that I wanted to speak - he asks a 2nd time - anyone want to speak? - I keep my head down - he says - "excuse me sir, do you want to speak?" - I said - "Do you want me to speak?" - he says - "no - ah - I dont want you to not speak" (or something like that with a good ole double negative) - at that point, I just asked a few questions One question was - "Will the antennas be on the parapet or the elevator penthouse?" (that is not a direct quote - I kinda fumbled thru the question - I couldnt remember the word "penthouse") - IIRC Chaput said the parapet, and the cellular guy immediately corrected him to the elevator penthouse (or vice versa). As it turns out, I think the new antennas are on the roof between the parapet and the elevator penthouse. You can see the installation from the Mass Ave side of the building.
