Boston FD struck a box for the Park Street MBTA subway station on Sunday. They found a small trash fire in a emergency exit hatch. The dispatcher was heard to say that Channel 4 was fireground, not Channel 2. Apparently she had assigned Channel 2 in error (her words). The mistake was corrected just as units arrived at the station. All of the incident comms were loud and clear on Channel 4 (483.2375R).
Now for the million dollar question - why wasnt Channel 2 the FG channel? Does only Ch 4 work in the T tunnels?
