- help wanted - new director - 2010

Is anyone familiar with this operation?

Its seems that BU School of Medicine has 373 fulltime staff - 50% are
professors of medicine - 41% have PhDs

How many staff does Boston Medical Center have?

This reflects a merger of BCH and University (BU) Hospitals. But I
think that both agencies still have separate security and mtnce radio
channels. Therefore - they are united but separate. Which leads to the
question - who supplies (pays) the doctors and nurses? Do they both
have their own MDs and nurses? Or does BU provide all the doctors and
nurses? Do the interns cover both hospitals? Are there are other
intern programs? Who runs the ER and trauma center?

I suspect that the most effective way to provide services is to merge
all of the staff, and all of the buildings.
