Townsend Mass - interesting response procedure at 6 AM this morning 453.90 R - Medic 1 and any available EMT are paged to a ALS call
M3 comes on the air and reports he is going to the scene Rescue 3 then signs on the air as responding and reports that Medic 1 is out of service I think that the procedure is - Medic 1 is a ALS SUV staffed by 1 paramedic overnight - Rescue 3 is an ALS ambulance that is staffed as needed - if Medic 1 is assigned to a call in Ashby, Groton, Pepperell, or New Hampshire, the paramedic leaves the station alone in the SUV - if the call is in Townsend, they page an off duty or call EMT or medic to augment the onduty paramedic -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
