Melrose FD did a radio test at 815 AM today (probably is a daily test)
482.15 R - PL 127.3
mobiles were tested first - then the portables
portables were - C2 - E200 - E201 - E202 - E300 - E301 - E302 - L100 -
L101 - L102 - dispatcher said there was no L103 today - R100 - R101
the dispatcher was saying "zero" - most people replyed with "oh" -
many replys left off the letter - am I being picky - yes, very
Captain ?Gordon was the OIC (officer in charge) - per the dispatcher
"Group 2 is the working group" - per the dispatcher - (ie - they have
4 platoons of approx 14 firefighters - 1 platoon was working at the
fire stations today ("on duty") - the other platoons were "off duty"
(not at the fire station)
