The offshore electricity generating turbines of the Cape Wind project
will cost $2 billion to construct. Expected lifespan is 25 years.

You know that the pornography budget is not going to be cut by $2
billion. The Boston Celtics budget is not going to be cut by $ 2
billion. The crack and heroin budget is not going to be cut by $2
billion. You know where the cuts will come from - right?

The project will save $7 billion in energy costs. SURE IT WILL.

Would it be too much to ask to build just 1 turbine first, and to test
it for 10 years?
