Using the Wicked Local Online Scanners 1. Whenever I click on one of the scanners, I get a pop up that wants my permission to run some file or something. You can not see the online scanner nor hear any radio traffic unles you allow that file to run.
2. To lock on a specific channel, a listener has to wait for the desired channel to become active. You can click on the display at that point to lock on that 1 specific channel. Alternately, one can select one bank (one community) to monitor - wait for a specific channel to become active - and then lock on that desired channel. 3. If I was to lock onto the Somerville bank, before or after locking out Somerville Police, I guess I could get the bank to scan both Somerville FD1 and Somerville FD2.
