Saw a bike accident right in front of my window yesterday. A woman in her 20s was passing a young boy on the bike path. Both were going westbound on their bikes. Just as the woman got next to the boy, he swerved to the left. There was a shout and they both went flying thru the air. Luckily they both landed on the grass to their left, and did not hit the concrete pole or wall that was there. Both had helmets on. Luckily, there were no injuries, and no damage to the bikes. No one even had a scratch apparently.
And as I finish typing this, there is a body on the ground right outside my window. Next to a tricycle next to a car. There is a woman with 2 kids at the front of the car - paying no attention to the body. Now the body is up - it is a guy - he walks to the wooded area across from the car. Kinda shaking out the cobwebs. 30 seconds later he is back at the car. Everyone gets on bikes and rides away. What the heck was that? A seizure? Or was he sprawled flat in the roadway fixing the tricycle? Why wouldnt he pick the tricycle up to fix it? It is tiny. The woman did get on a cellphone for about 15 seconds. ????? Is it possible to go down with a seizure or something and to pop right back up? He must have been trying to fix the wheels on the tricycle or something. But I saw no movement from him (for about 60 seconds) when he was down. He was approx 200 feet from me - maybe 300 feet. In the municipal parking lot. If a car had come along, they would have had to drive around him. Strange. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
