I think it is somewhat rare for private ambulances to have portable radios in the Boston area. Armstrong BLS units dont seem to have them. AMR units dont seem to use them on their company channels. I am not sure if Cataldo has them. Fallon Ambulance Service units might have 1 portable per ambulance. Most municipal ambulances seem to have a minimum of 2 portable radios in the Boston Mass area.
