I caught most of the Haverhill Massachusetts Fire Department radio
test today at 8 AM on 154.3625 R (5 bars to me) - DPL 071 - seemed to
be no problems - just a little bit of feedback once in a while - all
radios except 1 were loud and clear into the repeater system

All front line units have 1 mobile radio and 4 portable radios from
the sound of things

Probably Rescue 1 was tested first but I missed them -

.... Ladder 13, 14

Tanker 1, 11

Ambulance 1, 11

Engine 1, 11, 12, 13, 14

Engine 6,61,62,63,64

Engine 2,21,22,23,24

Combination / Forestry 2,21,22

Engine 3,31,32,33,34

Engine 4,41,42,43,44

Combo 4,41,42

Ladder 4,41,42,43,44

Engine 8,81,82.83.84 - all by 1 guy

Engine 9,91,92,93,94 - all by 1 guy

816 AM completed

The two digit IDs are the portable radios apparently

Eng 8 and 9 are outlying stations - maybe they have some call men still

Ladder 4 and Engine 6 are probably spare / reserve units - but
obviously they are fully radio equipped

Combos and Amb 1 are cross staffed probably

Portable 81 sounded very scratchy and screechy - the dispatcher
suggested that it be sent for repair - it sure sounded defective to me
- you could barely hear the words - they were buried in hiss and
screechy noise (not feedback) - some electrons were having a bad day
