Category 1 - cardiac arrest and choking - average response time of 5 minutes - 1800 incidents - 3900 runs - apparently this means that they send 1 BLS unit + 1 ALS unit to each Cat 1 call I dont know what they send to Cat 2 and Cat 3 LTE calls Note that they run 2:1 BLS to ALS units - Boston runs approx 5:1 BLS to ALS (On the fire side - average response time for fire units is 4 minutes - on both fire and EMS calls) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
