I heard a Boston doctor talking about this. He doesnt think that any pre teens should be playing tackle football. Actually, maybe he said that no one should play tackle football until college. The reason is - younger brains do not have strong sheaths on the neurons to protect from the cytotoxic chemicals which result form a hard hit.
