Melrose Mass had a small fire this morning apparently. I didnt hear
them say anything about switching to a short range radio channel
(fireground channel), but obviously they did.

Melrose MA FD - 482.15 R - main channel

0819 - call for a fire at 87 Essex St - announced by dispatcher

0819 - box 431 beeped 2 rounds and call reannounced

0820 - L1 responding - E3 responding

0821 - L1 at scene - nothing showing - L100 in command - E2 at own hydrant

0822 - E3 at hydrant at Essex at Myrtle

nothing more heard on 482.15 R until 0839

0839 - Rescue 1 returning to quarters - (then other units also
returned to quarters)

Seems to me that they rapidly shifted over to the MetroFire North
Fireground channel as soon as they arrived at the scene.
