old setup - 154.31 R - 154.07 M - 159.075 M new setup - 154.31 R - 155.64 R - 159.075 M 154.31 is the countywide fire dispatch channel (simplex) I am not sure why they are dumping 154.07 It looks like they are setting up a local repeater that can be patched to the coutnywide dispatch channel. I imagine that they will do all intown ops on 155.64R with 159.075 as the input. If they want to talk to the county dispatcher on 154.31, I guess they will have the option of selecting a special PL that will push the 155.64R traffic out on 154.31. The special PL could also enable a 154.31 receiver that will push the 154.31 traffic out onto 155.64R. It might be called a "selectable patch". Or not. Maybe 159.075 is alos the input to the 154.31 repeater. That would be another way to set up the system. Who knows what they really are going to do? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
