listening to the tape for the last couple of hours of radio traffic

A Captain's portable might have been wrongly programmed for ops on Ch
2 - Ch 2 was used for training - dispatcher could not contact unit at
training

Car 7 might be the Training Officer

Car 3 was testing fire box at American Insulated Panels at 75 John
Hancock Road - his portable radio could not hear the dispatcher in the
building

Some radio box was having a problem - dispatcher was not receiving any
signals - possibly an invalid code - dispatcher was asked to check his
screen for any invalid codes

AMR Medic 1 went to a private call that the fire dispatcher did not
know about - Eng 3 was sent later - Medic 1 cancelled Eng 3 saying
that they got the patient outside already - was call for disoriented
party

Dispatcher sends 3 attention beeps before sending station pager tone
sets - all calls are dispatched via Channel 1

Eng 3 might be based at Weir Station

Eng 4 to HQ for repairs - "Engine 4 retuning to Bay" (Fire Station)

"Unit 4 radio check" - possibly the portable radio for Eng 4 Officer

Ladder 2 to Central for equipment

Dispatcher is called "Dispatch" or "Fire Dispatch" or "Taunton Fire Dispatch"

"Unit 9 to Engine 9" - I think that was the Engine 9 Officer caling
the Engine 9 Driver

"Engine 9 off at East Taunton (Fire Station)" - same as it ever was
