Fall River Mass had a working fire this afternoon at 791 Charles St Initial dispatch is a "still alarm" - initial response is 3E 1L 1R IIRC
Car 3 had smoke showing on his arrival and immediately called for an extra engine and ladder - he got L4, E2, and Medical Rescue 3 - Eng 2 went onscene at 1705 time out was 1658 - fire was under control at 1719 the only fireground comms that I heard was "Engine 2 portable to Engine, we are RIT, come up here please" - I was listening via the Herald Press scanner feed and then at 1730 attic was clear as were primary and 2ndary of 3rd floor Platform 1 moved up to fill Flynn Station - they were told to use Ch 2 (453.85) - EMS calls also were on Ch 2 during the fire - fire scene ops were on Ch 1 6 PM - Engine 3 returned to quarters - out of service due to no SCBA -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
