medevacs cant fly - traffic is slow - might be a good time to put more medic units on the road - unless its useless lets think about that 15 minute ALS response time vs 8 minute ALS response time if victim is not breathing for 15 minutes, then they are dead if an airway can be placed in 8 minutes - and the patient can be sedated - then maybe you can buy an hour of transport time to get to an OR right? I am thinking that BLS really cant do too much for critical cases - even if they arrive in 2 minutes - except for witnessed cardiac arrest, and epi pen cases Maybe I am wrong.
