This is what I learned from Yarnell

1. Don't depend on aircraft to find you in smoke - even if they have
GPS and your exact cords

2. Even if the aircraft can find you - the water drop might kill you
rather than save you

3. Don't depend on " Air Guard " as an emergency radio channel -
apparently it don't work - especially if the pilots are trying to
monitor 2 or 3 other radio channels already

4. If you fart around with a fire, it will kill you and burn up your
town. The fire doesn't care if you are competent or not. The fire does
as fire does - (to paraphrase a great American.)

Note - Air Guard (168.625) is a simplex channel - line of sight comms
only - if your signal is blocked by a hill or mountain - then its
blocked - end of story
