Top of the New Hampshire to you this bright sunny morning.

It seems that NH EMA renewed one of their major licenses today. With the
renewal came a new name - Division of Emergency Services and Communications

This system may very well be heard down in Massachusetts on a regular
basis. (I think that I have only heard it once)

46.58 R - on Saddleback Mountain in Deerfield in Rockingham County - 100
watts output

453.25 - 1 FX2 (relay station) - on Saddleback - 20 watts output

458.25 - FX1 (20 watt control stations) at Newington Power Station and on
Oak Hill in Loudon in Merrimack County

Loudon is near Concord NH, and Concord NH is the State Capital. There must
be a telephone wire or maybe a microwave path that goes from EMA HQ on
Smokey Bear Lane in Concord to Oak Hill.

This license does not indicate what the input is to the 46.58 repeater. It
might actually be 46.58, which might explain why 453.35 is indicated to be
a FX2 (relay). [This would indicate that 46.58 R is actually a "remote
base" not a "repeater" as typically seen]

Do you see what I am saying? Any mobiles associated with this system would
transmit and receive on 46.58 (simplex). The signal would then be relayed
via 453.25 from Saddleback to Oak Hill thereby allowing Concord to hear
comms from the Seacoast area. Conversely, Concord could talk to mobiles on
46.58 in the Seacoast area by keying up 458.25 on Oak Hill which would be
received by a 458.25 receiver on Saddleback which would key up the 46.58
base.
