possible security measures - just thinking out loud

1. have credit cards or debit cards on more than one network (??? -
not sure if there is more than 1 network) - but there certainly is
more than 1 kind of credit card and debit card

1A - only use 1 card on the Internet - have 1 card that you never use
except for emergencies - have 1 card you never use on the Internet

2. have some free cash on hand

3. have some postal checks or travelers checks on hand

4. have some gold coins

5. have assets in various banks

6, have 1 or more safe deposit boxes

7. have money overseas somewhere -?????

8. watch your pension managers like a hawk

9. live near a hospital that is near a airport

10. have enough food and water for a week or month or year - maybe I
should get a water bed and kill 2 birds

More ??????
