Last night the Arlington MA FD responded to a LifeLine call at 4 Wilson St in Arlington at Apt 6XX. There are no 6 story blds on Wilson St in Arlington. 4 "Winslow" St is a 13 story highrise full of elderly and disabled residents. Apparently LifeLine stated a couple of times to the Arlington dispatchers that it was "Wilson St" not "Winslow St".
Gues what? It was Winslow St. Moral of the story - LifeLine might give bad addresses once in a while. (Luckily - it turned out to be a BLS call instead of a ALS call) Might have been a woman over 90 years old. Dont think she ever used her LifeLine machine before. Imagine - you work and pay taxes for 90 years - and the one day that you need 911, its a flop. On the other hand - I have never heard Lifeline make a dyslexia type mistake before. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
