West Newbury FD paged to MVA on 154.01 methuen FD still heard on 154.01 R 463.075 handoffs - Med 72 for unit going to South Shore Hosp from Quincy via Boston CMED - unit from Wilmington to Winchester Hospital was given Med 22 by Boston CMED - someone took Med 62 to MelWak Hosp - Plymouth County CMED gave Med 6 to 532 for a Priority 2 patch to Brockton Hospital Chelmsford FD on 482.775R, Cohasset FD on 453.70R, and Weymouth FD on 482.0625R all were received worse when my antenna was vertical. When the antenna was rotated to 30 degrees from vertical, the signals all improved markedly. Could this have something to do with signals bouncing off a nearby hill? The signals were apparently coming thru my bedroom window but not thru the bedroom wall. The window was approx 6 feet away from the scanner. Seems very strange. BPD was making some announcement about a Commissoner Notice that dealt with the Centrex system on June 16. "Officers should refrain from asking the dispatcher to call them". ????? 160.02 R - "A11 to Operations - transport" - Medic 12 also heard - apparently Atlantic Ambulance is still using this repeater in the Newburyport area 154.43 - SWNH at 6 PM - multi tone sets for multi FD messages - each tone set has a one second first tone followed by a 3 second 2nd tone - there is an approx 2 second gap between each tone set 483.05 R - Dover FD - "76 on with 2" - ambulance went to a call - I didnt hear any mention of ALS 158.73 - I could hear D5 doing rollcall at 615 PM. Salem availability was 1 and 0. The only FD that I heard reply on 158.73 was Wakefield FD with 1 and 0. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
