$1.5 Billion housing bond bill has passed

Public housing in Massachusetts is comprised of 45,60 housing
authority controlled apartments. 70% of these are occupied by elderly
or disabled residents. The vast majority of the residents are
extremely low income (below 30% of area median income).

(Section 8 is a different program. Section 8 uses privately owned apartments).

Lets hope that the $1.5B bond bill translates into vast upgrades for
the resiliency of public housing in Massachusetts
